Activa Multimèdia Digital, SL (henceforth Activa Multimèdia) is a public subsidiary of the Corporació Catalana de Ràdio i Televisió (henceforth CCRTV).
 
Its mission is to develop advanced solutions and services for the audiovisual industry and for digital media, as well as to create and develop hardware and software for these fields.
 
Activa Multimèdia’s registered office is at Baronessa de Maldà, 48-52 Esplugues de Llobregat 08950 , tax identification number CIF B-62578067 and telephone number 93 567 25 50. In compliance with Law 34/2002, of July 11, Activa Multimèdia Digital, SL, is registered in the Barcelona Companies Registration Office in Volume 35.835, Folio 150, Page 239.114, 15 Inscription, as is the activamultimedia.com domain.
www.activamultimedia.com is Activa Multimèdia’s sole official website. Users should directs their requests, queries, and complaints to the following e-mail address: [email protected]
 
Use of the portal implies full and unreserved acceptance of each of the conditions included in this Legal Notice, which should, therefore, be read carefully.
 
 
2. Copyright

Copyright of the Activa Multimèdia web site at URL www.activamultimedia.com, its source code, design, navigation structure, databases, and contents are the property of Activa Multimèdia, which exercises sole rights with regard to their commercial exploitation, reproduction, distribution, public communication, and modification.
 
The information displayed on the page is the property of Activa Multimèdia and its authors, and is protected by the provisions of Royal Decree 1/1996, of April 12, which brought into force the amended provisions of the Copyright Act. International copyright treaties are also binding in this connection.
 
This notice in no way grants Web site users any rights to the elements, contents and personal services of this Web site. Therefore, the copying, distribution, commercial exploitation and any other type of public use of the portal contents are expressly prohibited without prior consent from Activa Multimèdia.


3. Terms of use
  1. Free access and use of the portal
    Access to all the services on this portal is free to users of the Activa Multimèdia web page.
  2. User log-in
    The use of portal services does not require registration or prior subscription by users. However, to access the Client area, registration is required in order to enjoy all the services and advantages offered to Activa Multimèdia portal users. All personal information and data voluntarily submitted by users in the registration forms must be wholly accurate and true. Activa Multimèdia guarantees users that the personal data they submit will be used solely for the purposes indicated in the Data Protection Policy section following the registration form, which is protected by the security measures established by the legislation in force.Activa Multimèdia shall treat the data in accordance with the legislation in force and uphold users’ privacy and other rights arising from registration for each service.
  3. Newsletter subscriptions
    As soon as users log in to the website’s client area, they can subscribe to the newsletter to receive detailed information on Activa Multimèdia services, the audiovisual industry and/or other companies in the CCRTV group. This subscription is voluntary and implies full acceptance of Activa Multimèdia’s conditions for supplying information and content. It also implies user consent for receiving communications. These messages shall under no circumstances be considered unsolicited by the user, who can cancel the service at any time.
  4. Changes and cancellations
    The portal’s registered users may change their data or cancel their registration for portal services directly from the web site or by exercising their rights set out in section 9 regarding the personal data protection policy. From the web site, users identify themselves (by filling in their e-mail address and password) in the client area. Once authenticated, they can either modify their data or cancel their registration. From the data modification link, users are directed to a form displaying the data they supplied when registering. By simply writing over the information in the corresponding fields, the data will be automatically changed. From the registration cancellation link, users are directed to a page where they fill in their e-mail address. The system then automatically deletes their data and confirms cancellation. From that moment on, they will receive no further information from Activa Multimèdia, unless they choose to re-register.
  5. Contents
    Activa Multimèdia places services and contents in the portal and its complementary web pages at the disposal of users, who may access these from the portal’s home page. Should the data furnished come from third parties, information shall be provided regarding its source. Users undertake to use the services and information provided in the Activa Multimèdia portal in good faith and in a way that does not contravene the legislation in force and generally accepted standards of behavior.
4. Terms regarding use of the portal
 
Users undertake to use the portal and its services in accordance with the Law, the terms set forth in this legal notice, and with generally accepted standards of behavior.

Users shall refrain from using any of the services for illegal ends or purposes that are forbidden by this notice, or that may harm in any way any of the content stored on the company’s equipment, users’ equipment, or the equipment of Internet users in general.

Among other things, users shall not:
  • Reproduce, copy, distribute, make available, communicate publicly or change content without first obtaining the prior written permission of the owners of such content.
  • Remove or change information regarding copyright and/or other identification data regarding copyrights held by the company or its representatives, its digital signatures or other techniques intended to protect or state aforesaid rights.
5. Permitted uses
 
The portal contents may be viewed, printed, and partially downloaded providing:
  1. Use is compatible with the purposes of the web portal.
  2. Use is solely for the purposes of obtaining information for personal and private ends. The use of the web portal for commercial ends and its distribution, public communication, alteration, or reverse engineering are expressly forbidden.
  3. None of the portal’s contents are altered in any way, shape, or form.
  4. None of the graphic elements, icons, or images displayed on the web site are used, copied, or distributed separately from the text or other images in the portal.
6. Modifications

Activa Multimèdia reserves the right to make changes and updates to the portal content appearance, content, configuration, and terms of access without prior notification.
 
7. Liability
  1. Exclusion of liability for the content and functioning of the web site
    Activa Multimèdia cannot guarantee that there will be no interruptions and errors in accessing the portal, portal content and updates. Activa Multimèdia shall take all reasonable measures to correct errors, re-establish communications, and update contents once it becomes aware of any faults in these respects. Activa Multimèdia shall not be liable for faults, errors or problems in connecting to the portal occasioned by the user’s Internet provider.
  2. Exclusion of liability regarding portal use
    The user shall be held solely liable for any inappropriate use or access he or she may make of the portal. Activa Multimèdia shall not be liable for any consequences or damage arising from aforesaid misuse or access.

    Activa Multimèdia shall not be held liable for any security flaws or harm that may be caused to users’ computer hardware and/or software, and the files and/or documents stored therein as a result of:
    • The presence of virus, worms, trojans or similar agent in the user’s computer through connection to portal contents and services.
    • Malfunctioning of the user’s Internet browser or the use of old browser versions. The user undertakes to use the web page, its content and services in compliance with the Law and observing both the spirit and letter of this Legal Notice. The user shall not use any of the portal information or services for illegal purposes, in ways that are otherwise expressly forbidden, or that may hurt the interests of third parties.
8. Forbidden uses

Activa Multimèdia reserves the right to take legal action where portal contents are used in an unauthorized fashion, resold or whose use breaches copyright.

All links from third parties shall be to Activa Multimèdia’s home page. Deep links and framing are expressly forbidden, as is the unauthorized use of portal content by third parties.
 
9. Data protection policy
 
All information received from portal users, whether in the form of e-mails or registration information, shall be treated in the strictest confidence by Activa Multimèdia Digital.
 
The information received in the e-mail section will only be used to answer the questions posed by users and shall not be used for any other purpose.
 
Where users choose to register, the data protection policy adopted is the following:
  1. User registration
    The data voluntarily submitted in the registration form include a personal data file held by Activa Multimèdia Digital, SL. This file is used to manage the user’s access to the client area of the web site, which provides information on the company, the audiovisual industry, downloads, subscription to the company’s newsletter, and information from the CCRTV group (Corporació Catalana de Ràdio i Televisió) as well as to various services that Activa Multimèdia Digital may create in the future.
    All reasonable technical and organizational measures have been taken to ensure the legal protection and security of aforesaid files. Such data shall not be made available to other companies in any way, shape, or form without prior consent from the user.
    In compliance with the provisions of the Data Protection Act 15/1999, of December 13, users may exercise their rights to access, dispute, rectify, or remove aforesaid data by sending an e-mail to [email protected], or a letter to the attention of  Activa Multimèdia Digital, SL, Edifici Imagina, Carrer Gaspar Fàbregas, 81, 2a. planta, 08950 Esplugues de Llobregat.
    By registering, the users indicate their informed acceptance of the above data protection policy and their authorization for processing the personal data provided as set out in this Legal Notice.
  2.  Cookies
    Cookies shall not be used to acquire personal identification data, but rather solely for facilitating users’ access to the web site. These cookies only gather technical information to identify the session and facilitate web browsing. The cookies will be retained in the browser’s cache memory, even though this information will not be re-used.
  3. Send to a friend
    The section allows portal users to send web contents to their friends. The user provides the recipient’s name and e-mail address in the web form.
    The provisions of the Data Protection Act 15/1999 of December 13 require that any individual wishing to send such data to an intended recipient must obtain the latter’s permission before furnishing personal information. Portal users should therefore obtain the recipient’s consent before filling in the form. Activa Multimèdia shall not be held liable where the user fails to obtain such consent.
