The company is the R+D+I centre of the Catalan Broadcasting Corporation (Corporació Catalana de Mitjans Audiovisuals, CCMA), a group of which it is a subsidiary.
Business Lines
Activa Multimèdia develops its activity along the following business lines:
- Audiovisual Weather Services (Serveis Audiovisuals de Meteorologia, SAM): An area of creation of weather-related content for the Internet, mobile telephony, television and the press.
- Automatic TV: A number of products, services and projects for the automation of production, and the broadcast of content for television.
- Compact TV: A system of content and digital archiving management for televisions and documentary centres, aimed at TV companies, news agencies and advertising, media centres, centres for audiovisual archive and documentation, and so on.
- Interactive Digital TV (TV Digital Interactiva): Full interactivity solutions for the DTT. A system for the broadcasting of interactive elements.
